Christopher (Kit) Kelen is an Associate Professor at the University of Macau in south China, where he has taught Literature and Creative Writing for the last eight years. The most recent of Kelen’s eight volumes of poetry are After Meng Jiao - responses to the Tang poet (published by VAC in Chicago in 2008) and a volume of Macao poems Dredging the Delta (published in 2007 by Cinnamon Press in the U.K.). In 2007 Kelen was the winner of Westerly's Patricia Hackett Prize.
